Lol, why didn t you ask these questions at your visit. anywho, no your period should not last 7 days, thats just the length if time your body has off of the meds. it could be moving around on yoru skin, but unless it comes off, i would not worry about it.yes it is effective if it wrinkles up a bit, the meds are in the entire patch, not just a lil spotas for puttin it back, i never heard tell that it was bad, just change the spot weekly.
